Initial installation

Obtain and install Microsoft Access. First, obtain and install Microsoft Access, either by purchase of the full application or by free download of the runtime version.

Obtain TaskMaster. Next, obtain the TaskMaster installer by downloading it from the TaskMaster website.

Install TaskMaster. Then, install TaskMaster by running the installer. The only change made to the user’s computer system is that a barcode font is installed in the system’s font folder. To uninstall TaskMaster, simply delete the TaskMaster folder from the program files folder in the C drive.

Ready to use. Begin using TaskMaster.

Addition installations

Update Installation. An update is installed by use of an installer that is downloaded from the TaskMaster website. Users will be notified by email when updates are available for download. Some updates may be sent as attachments to emails that are sent to users.

Upgrade Installation. An upgrade is installed by placing the new Licesne, which is emailed to the user, into the TaskMaster folder.

Installation on Additional computers. TaskMaster Help file contains instructions on how to install TaskMaster on additional school computers.

Installation on Network. TaskMaster Help file contains instructions on how to install and use TaskMaster on a school network.
