About training techniques

The martial arts have always stressed physical and mental training. Some of the traditional training methods of the last century are still applicable, but many of the methods have been proven ineffective or even unhealthy or dangerous. Modern training methods help martial artists to safely and effectively increase their power, speed, endurance, and flexibility. Martial art students need to know what are good and what are bad training  methods and techniques so they may avoid injury and maintain their training regime.
