Question 012: Anxiety

I am a black belt 1st Dan in TKD. Today I competed in a tournament; I placed first in forms and second in fighting. I am so slow when it comes to sparring. I do much better in my school when nothing is on the line. I'm more relaxed. I didn't do half the techniques I am capable of. My anxiety level was so high it prevented me from doing simple techniques. My hands were shaking. I couldn't even fasten my helmet! I enjoy sparring. I'm not afraid to get hit or fight. Either I'm afraid of losing or I want to win so bad I lose it. I'm very aggressive in my dojang, but when I compete, I break down.
