The ready stance is similar to the military "parade rest" position. It is a relaxed, but alert and ready, stance used to rest and await further orders.
Stand with the body erect. Face forward with head erect. Feet are positioned parallel about a shoulder width apart, toes pointed toward the target. Hold arms in front of the body with hands in tight fists with knuckles facing outward, about one inch apart, about one inch from the belt knot. With hands held in this position, the arms will form a circular shape.
Same as parallel ready stance except feet are angled outward at a 45-degree angle.
Same as parallel ready stance except feet are angled inward at a 45-degree angle.
