White Belts
White belt students are taught the procedures and protocol of the school, basic terminology used in the school, and techniques required for promotion to the first color belt.
Color Belts
Color belt students are taught techniques that are used in the pattern, sparring, and self-defense sequences required for promotion to their next ranks, along with other techniques commensurate with their present rank. As the skill level of a student increases, more advanced techniques are taught.
Black Belts
Black belt students train to perfect all their techniques and learn more complicated and difficult patterns required for advanced belts.
