21 Movements

Attention and Bow: Stand at X facing North in attention stance with palms on sides of legs, then bow.

Ready Stance: Parallel ready stance. Form fists with both hands and pull fists to the hips with palms facing upward. Step left foot out to left side, toward West, ending movement with feet parallel about 12 inches apart. As left foot hits floor, punch both fists inward toward belt knot, stopping just in front of knot. End movement with knees slightly bent and fists about three inches apart just in front of belt knot, palms backward.

Imaginary Attacker: Approaches from left.

Preliminary Movements: Look left toward West. Extend both arms toward East with hands in knife-hands. Right arm is fully extended, palm down. Left arm is extended to right shoulder, palm up.

1. Pivot on right foot turning body 90° left into left back stance toward West, while executing left middle double knife-hand guarding block (for protection against attack).

Preliminary Movements: Extend left arm toward West with hand in a fist, while pulling right hand to right hip in a fist, palms up.

2. Step right foot forward toward West into right front stance, with right high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

Imaginary Attacker: Approaches from behind.

Preliminary Movements: Look left toward East. Extend both arms toward West with hands in a knife-hands. Left arm is fully extended, palm down. Right arm is extended to the left shoulder, palm up.

3. Pivoting on left foot turning body 180° right toward East stepping right foot into right back stance toward East, while executing right middle double knife-hand guarding block (for protection against attack).

Preliminary Movements: Extend right arm toward East with hand in a fist, while pulling left hand to left hip in a fist, palm up.

4. Step left foot forward toward East into left front stance, with left high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

Imaginary Attacker: Attacks from left with low front kick.

Preliminary Movements: Look left toward North. Cross arms tightly in front of chest, left arm on top, left elbow over right elbow, left fist over right shoulder with palms downward, right arm under left arm, right fist under left shoulder with palm downward.

5. Pivot on right foot turning body 90° left toward North stepping left foot into left front stance toward North, while executing left low inner-forearm block (to block front kick), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

Preliminary Movements: Extend left arm toward North with hand in a fist, while pulling right fist to right hip in a fist, palm up.

6. Step right foot forward toward North into right front stance, with right high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face as he or she backs up), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

7. Step left foot forward toward North into left front stance, with left high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face as he or she backs up), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

8. Step right foot forward toward North into right front stance, with right high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face as he or she backs up), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up, with KIAI!

Imaginary Attacker: Attacks from right with right middle fore-fist punch and left high fore-fist punch.

Preliminary Movements: Look right. Bring both fists to the right hip, right fist at hip with palm up, left arm across abdomen with left fist directly over and touching right fist with the palms up.

9. Pivot on right foot turning 270° left stepping left foot into left back stance toward East, with left high twin inner-forearm block (to block attacker's two punches).

Preliminary Movements: Extend left arm toward East with hand in a fist, while pulling right fist to right hip in a fist, palm up.

10. Step right foot forward toward East into right front stance, with right high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

Imaginary Attacker: Attacks from behind with left middle fore-fist punch and right high fore-fist punch.

Preliminary Movements: Bring both fists to the left hip, left fist at hip with knuckles down, right arm across abdomen with right fist directly over and touching left fist with the palms up.

11. Pivot on left foot turning 180° right stepping right foot into right back stance toward West, with right high twin inner-forearm block (to block attacker's two punches).

Preliminary Movements: Extend right arm toward West with hand in a fist, while pulling left fist to left hip in a fist, palm up.

12. Step left foot forward toward West into left front stance, with left high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

Imaginary Attacker: Attacks from left with low front kick and four high punches while backing up.

Preliminary Movements: Look left, cross arms tightly in front of chest, left arm on top, left elbow just above right elbow, left fist over right shoulder with palms inward, right arm under left arm, right fist beside left shoulder with palm downwards.

13. Pivot on right foot turning body 90° left stepping left foot into left front stance toward South, while executing left low inner-forearm block (to block front kick), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

14. Immediately snap left arm up into left high inner-forearm block (to block punch).

15. Step right foot forward into right front stance toward South, with right high inner-forearm block (to block punch), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

16. Step left foot forward into left front stance toward South, with left high inner-forearm block (to block punch), while pulling right fist to right hip, palm up.

17. Step right foot forward into right front stance toward South, with right high inner-forearm block (to block punch), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up, with KIAI!

19. Step right foot forward into right front stance toward West, with right high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

Imaginary Attacker: Approaches from behind.

20. Pivoting on left foot turning body 180° right stepping right foot into right back stance toward East, with right middle outward inverted-knife-hand strike (to attacker's ribs), while pulling left fist to left hip, palm up.

Preliminary Movements: Form right hand into a fist.

21. Step left foot forward into left front stance toward East, with left high fore-fist punch (to attacker's face), while pulling right fist to right hip in a fist, palm up. 

Imaginary Attacker: Stops attacking.

Ready Stance: Bring left foot back toward right foot into parallel ready stance facing North.

Attention and Bow: Slide left foot over to right foot into attention stance at X facing North, then bow.
